It is critical to know where you stand with MIPS. CMS has released a MIPS Participation Lookup Tool to help you check on your 2018 eligibility for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Just enter your National Provider Identifier, or NPI, to find out whether you need to participate during the 2018 performance year. On April 12 ASE was able to participate in a roundtable with Representative Peter Roskam (R-IL), the Chairman of the House’s Ways and Means Committee. ASE had the opportunity to discuss MACRA, the importance of registries to MIPS, the challenges societies face in establishing registries, the administrative burdens of the AUC mandate and the difficulties in working to move a category III to category I.
